INTRODUCING KEITH CHAPMAN

MEET KEITH CHAPMAN,
 THE MAN BEHIND...

I am sure you are familiar with Keith’s kiddie creations – Fifi and the Flowertots, Roary the Racing Car and now Raa Raa the Noisy Lion – seen daily on ABC4Kids at 5.10pm daily.

I was a little nervous as I approached my interview with Keith, you don't have to have kids to know his works or their theme songs!

Keith was immediately warm and welcoming taking my interview in the middle of the night from his Wimbledon home in the UK.
I quickly felt the butterflies disappear as I learnt more about this amazing father of three boys.
Keith Chapman has always had a passion for the work he does.
It began at a young age when Keith would take pit stops on his paper run to indulge in his passion for comics.
His passion grew from his childhood love.
After years of ideas and support from his understanding wife his first big break came with Bob the Builder.
Keith has gone on the create an empire of magical children's shows.
I hope you enjoy my interview and my hope is that you take from it that You too can achieve your dreams if you believe hard enough, learn your craft well and never ever give up!

Raa Raa The Noisy Lion is narrated by UK’s national treasure, Lorraine Kelly.  Joining Raa Raa on his vocal voyage of discovery are Huffty the elephant, Topsy the giraffe, Crocky the crocodile, Zebby the zebra and Ooo Ooo the monkey.  Together this merry band of young friends are learning that they can have a lot more fun on their adventures if they use their communication skills – sounds, gestures, facial expressions and best of all, words!  Using rhyme, rhythm, repetition encouraging little ones to mimic, entertaining music and signature sounds combined with great storytelling in a fun jungle environment, Raa Raa The Noisy Lion uses the voices of real children for Raa Raa and his friends to connect and resonate with youngsters.  Developed with speech, language and communication experts, the series has already launched on Cbeebies in the UK and is fast becoming a kiddie (and parent!) favourite.
