Meet the Man behind Sydney's Fabulous Street Light Disco

What a spectacular and festive sight you will see this Christmas in Sydney's Martin Place, Through out the day light up with the magic of reflection that  dances over the pavement that is created by these giant banners that grace the streets. As the sunsets these festive flags wave a sea of vibrant colours and turn Martin Place into a disco that highlights the colour and beauty of our Cities nightlife thats happening around you.

STREET LIGHT DISCO BY OFFICE FEUERMAN
Street Light Disco transforms the promenade of Martin Place with a dazzling makeover. Installed on banner poles lining Martin Place, the shimmering banners reflect the plaza’s historic architecture while emitting a mirror ball-effect, captivating visitors with sparkle and light.
Developed through Art & About Sydney, Street Light Disco is a joint initiative between City of Sydney and Office Feuerman, a design office based in Sydney and New York.

Meet William Feuerman:
William Feuerman is the founder and principal of Office Feuerman. William has previously worked at several leading international architecture firms including Bernard Tschumi Architects in New York and Cee/Pfau Collaborative in San Francisco.
Feuerman has taught in graduate architecture programs at Columbia University and University of Pennsylvania and has coordinated and taught interior design at Pratt Institute. Since 2012, he has been the Course Director for the Bachelor of Design in Architecture Program and Senior Lecturer at the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS).
Feuerman received a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University and a Bachelors of Architecture from the California College of the Arts.
